To help more organisations be recognised for the fantastic work they do, nominations are open to everyone and can be submitted on the  NCFD website until October 31st 2019.

The Grand Awards will include the much-anticipated announcement of the NCFD ‘Top 100’ 2020– the annual report which ranks the top hundred UK organisations for excellence in promoting EDI.

The Top 100 is determined by the diagnostic results of those who have embarked on an accreditation journey with the National Centre for Diversity.

Solat Chaudhry, Chief Executive of the National Centre for Diversity, said: “The Grand Awards is the most awaited day of the year in the EDI calendar. Celebrating the people who work tirelessly every day to ensure there is equality of opportunity for all is something we should all honour and these awards do just that.

They go to the very heart of recognising how an organisation’s culture contributes to the wonderful work of promoting what we, at NCFD, affectionately call FREDIE (Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement).

“We have also made it easier to submit a nomination –  our website gives out Top Tips on what to include in your submission.”

I encourage everyone to nominate their equality heroes, and make sure their effort and energy can be recognised on a national level.”
