With the announcement of Mandatory Gender Pay Gap Reporting from the Government Equalities Office and The Rt Hon Nicky Morgan MP in February this year, companies affected by the proposed regulations may be wondering how best to implement them.
The regulations, which aim to increase transparency around gender pay differences, was borne from the voluntary initiative ‘Think, Act, Report’, launched in 2011, which saw only seven organisations report their gender pay gap details, out of the original 300 employers that signed up.
Under the proposed regulations, any company with more than 250 employees will be required to collect data about their gender pay gap by 30th April 2017, and publish the data within 12 months, with annual updates going forwards.
Here at the National Centre for Diversity, we understand how difficult it can be to understand what exactly is required of you, as an employer. We’re offering some essential training for HR professionals, setting out the best practice for reporting your gender pay gap data.
This event gives you the opportunity to learn from the experts. In just one afternoon you can build knowledge of the essential requirements, and really understand how to easily gather the necessary data, and how to turn that data into a comprehensive report.
