“I’m so excited and I just can’t hide. I think I’m about to lose control and I think I Iike it”. Did anybody say it better than the Pointer Sisters?

Those words capture exactly how we feel at the National Centre for Diversity about the Grand Awards 2018, which is being held on the 18th January 2018 in London.

People are always telling us how much they love the event and how they leave more inspired than ever before. They tell us how their heart starts to beat faster and faster as they watch the Top 100 Index countdown, with bated breathe. It is truly thrilling.

One person described it as “better than hot chocolate fudge cake!”

If I was you the burning questions in my mind would be:

  • Was I nominated?
  • How can I be nominated for an award?
  • Is my organisation in the Top 100?
  • Was my organisation nominated for an award?
  • Is 2018 going to be your year?

All will be revealed!

At the NCFD headquarters, we are gearing up for what always turn out to be one of the most uplifting nights of our lives.

As you can imagine an awful lot of hard work goes into the event and the team-work like Trojans to make it a glittering and emotional night of celebration, showcasing the sheer hard work of people that work in UK’s finest companies.

Last year Huddersfield New College came in at number 1 in the NCFD Top 100 Index 2017 – having jumped a massive 54 places when compared to where they were in 2016.

Victim Support won Charity of the Year, they also jumped a massive 57 places from number 68 to number 9 in the NCFD Top 100 Index 2017.

One of our most coveted awards, the Chief Executive of the Year award went to Pat Edwards, from London based organisation NEWTEC.

Money can’t buy these awards. Organisations and individuals have to work hard and go up against stiff competition. The quality of the nominations we received last year was outstanding.

This year we have added four new award categories: UK Board/ SLT of the Year, UK Retailer of the Year, UK Technology Company of the Year and UK Financial Services Company of the Year.
