Positive Outcomes From EDI Accreditation

It is a demonstration of the hard work we do as an organisation to be more inclusive both as a staff team but also within our membership.

Background:

St John’s Hospice is committed to celebrating and amplifying life, enabling people to live well for as long as possible. Each year, we support more than 4,000 people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across North London. Our services include community care, Hospice@Home, day services, inpatient care, social and welfare support, therapies, and bereavement support.

The Aims:

We wanted to build a more inclusive culture and ensure we are doing everything possible to encourage this. We are an extremely diverse group of staff, volunteers, supporters and service users, and its really important to us that we embed diversity and inclusion into our wider organisations to ensure everyone feels valued, and can fulfil their potential.
