The National Centre for Diversity (NCFD) is thrilled to announce that the judging panel for our third annual Grand Awards has been officially appointed.

This year’s judging panel brings together Chris Green, Former Regional Managing Director at Johnston Press; Dawn O’Keefe, Managing Director at Shine; Julia Richards, Commercial Director EMEA at Cognition Education; Khalida Hussain, Senior Development Officer at Voluntary Action Fund; Jim Aleander, a former College Principal and Paula Webber, former senior manager in the Education and Skills Funding Agency.

The NCFD Grand Awards 2018 is taking place on January 18th 2018, at the Hotel Ibis, Earls Court, London.

Chief Executive of the National Centre for Diversity, Solat Chaudhry, commented: “The excitement is building already. This year’s awards event is promising to be the biggest and best we have done; we’re very excited to be hosting this year’s Grand Awards in London – the nerve centre of the country”.

Now in its 3rd year, the annual awards promote, encourage and champion the hard work of organisations and individuals; providing a top quality opportunity where judges and guests come together to share their successes and achievements, as they continue work to improve the equality, diversity and inclusion practices within organisations across the UK.

The National Centre for Diversity will also announce the 2018 Top 100 Index during the evening, as well as winners of the organisational and individual awards.

Last year Huddersfield New College swept the board, winning awards in the UK Organisation of Year, UK EDI Lead of the Year and UK College Principal of the Year categories.

This year new categories have been included such as UK Retailer of the Year, UK Financial Services Company of the Year and UK Technology Company of the Year. The coveted and long-standing category ‘Chief Executive of the Year’ has also had a  reboot, and the category now includes Managing Directors as well as Chief Executives.
