This training session explains conscious inclusion, a type of bias that occurs when we make judgments about others based on our subconscious beliefs and assumptions. These beliefs and assumptions are often formed from our personal experiences, upbringing, and culture. While conscious inclusion can be positive, it can also be negative.
During the training, we discover that conscious inclusion can be overcome and that by becoming aware of our biases, we can start to challenge them and make more informed decisions. We can also create a more inclusive environment by being mindful of our language and behaviour, and by creating opportunities for people from different backgrounds to interact with each other.
