‘Neurodiversity’ is a term used to describe the wide range of neurological conditions that people can be born with or develop over their lifetime. These conditions can affect how people think, learn, and process information. Some common neurodiverse conditions include autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, and dyspraxia.
Neurodiversity is not a disability. It is simply a different way of being. People with neurodiverse conditions can be just as successful and productive as anyone else. However, they may need some accommodations to help them succeed.
This training course helps attendees better understand Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD and Dyspraxia in adults and suggests ways the workplace and be made more accommodating towards individuals living with these conditions.
